Terms and Conditions

Specialized firms licensed in the UAE and interested in bidding for this tender can obtain the tender documents from the Procurement and Contracts Section Statistic Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD), Villa No. 8, Rabdan opposite area of Shangri La Hotel - Abu Dhabi, against payment of the tender fees. Bids must be accompanied with a bid bond equal to 5 percent of the bid value for the bids above AED 1,000,000 (one million dhs), to be submitted either as a certified (manager) cheque or a bank guarantee valid for 120 days days renewable for one month. Bids must be submitted to the Secretariat of the Bid Opening Committee, Villa No. 8, enclosing all the required documents, approved and placed in three wax sealed envelopes, marked with the tender number, subject, and vendor name. The content of the envelopes is detailed as follows:

1. The first envelop, containing the Financial Offer.
2. The second envelope, containing the Technical Offer.
3. The third envelop, containing the bid bond for the bids above AED 1,000,000 (one million dhs).

The deadline for accepting bids for tenders is mentioned in the newspaper ad and in the tender details table below. The awarded company shall submit a Performance Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the bid value and sign the contract within 15 days from receiving the awarding letter.
