Statistics Centre - Abu Dhabi (SCAD) has announced statistical data that show expansion of Abu Dhabi's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the first half of 2022, reaching 11.2 percent compared to the same period last year. The growth reflects the Emirate's robust performance and the ability of the economy to maintain competitiveness and sustain growth despite global economic challenges.

This week, a high-level delegation from the Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD) in the United Arab Emirates is visiting Estonia and Statistics Estonia. The purpose of the visit is to further strengthen the collaboration in the field of statistics to develop and improve activities related to data-based policy making intended to fulfill the national strategic goals.

The Statistics Centre - Abu Dhabi (SCAD) has signed an agreement with Mastercard to use Master Card SpendingPulse insights to better understand spending patterns across digital and in-person transactions from in-store and online retail sales across all forms of payment.

Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD) has signed service agreements with government entities in Abu Dhabi to strengthen data collaboration and provide statistical analyses using artificial intelligence (AI) applications and simulation models that can achieve efficient management of resources in Abu Dhabi.
