A high-level delegation from the Statistics Centre Abu Dhabi concluded its official participation in the 65th ISI World Statistics Congress 2025, held in The Hague from 3 to 9 October, at a time when official statistics globally are undergoing rapid transformation driven by artificial intelligence and the adoption of new data sources.

The Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD) unveiled Bayaan 4.0 and Tbyaan during GITEX Global 2025 as part of its commitment to establishing an AI-native statistical ecosystem that contributes to Abu Dhabi’s Digital Strategy 2025–2027 and supports its vision of becoming the world’s first AI-native government.

The Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD) has announced that the emirate’s real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reached AED306.3 billion in the second quarter of 2025, representing a 3.8 per cent increase compared with Q2 2024. The non-oil economy grew 6.6 per cent year-on-year to the highest quarterly value at AED174.1 billion, and for the first time in a second quarter accounted for 56.8 per cent of total GDP.

The Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD), in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), hosted a workshop focused on enhancing data exchange between the public and private sectors to improve the Producer Price Index (PPI) and Industrial Production Index (IPI).
