Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD) is committed to carrying out its responsibilities in regard to the implementation and compliance with the requirement of occupational health and safety and welfare of all employees, contractors, and trainees at the Centre's premises, to the extent the available resources would reasonably and adequately permit, according to what can be applied adequately and logical, during his activities and events committed to providing a safe work environment.


Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD) is committed to offering distinctive statistics services that meet and exceed stakeholders' needs and expectations by maintaining Integrated Management (IMS) in line with ISO 9001:2015 ISO 14001:2015 BS OHSAS 18001:2007 requirements.


This document describes the policy and procedures, which must be followed when revising official statistics issued by SCAD and it is available on the SCAD website. The general revision policy include a Code of Practice (Appendix A) for revisions of official statistics published by SCAD. It is aligned with article (4) of Law no.7 of 2008 which require SCAD to provide accurate and reliable statistics. Comprehensive analyses of revisions including commentary, tables and figures are conducted and are used to assess the impact of revisions on previously published official statistics.
